KRISTIAN
ANDRESEN

Kristian Andresen began his film career more than 20 years ago when he guarded a set parking lot on some of the poorest, most dense and most drug-addled streets in North America

His personality and workaholic attitude enabled successful navigation and ascension through the world of film production. Quickly becoming a well- respected producer in commercials and music videos, Kristian orchestrated and oversaw the collaboration of countless talented individuals and highly skilled technicians. Harnessing the talent and creative drive of those around him, Andresen founded Famous Kids in 2003, a sister company to commercial powerhouse Circle Productions. Shortly thereafter, Kristian was given the opportunity to take the reins at Circle Productions’ Toronto office.

Kristian founded Live Design Create in 2007 to be a full service production company, enabling all processes from development through postproduction. After a string of high-profile advertising work, Kristian produced Transmission’s first feature film, Skyline that grossed over 80 Million worldwide the highest grossing independent Sci-Fi film to date.

Andresen is currently in development with several narrative projects, and leading the production on a number marketing projects with his newest venture, Live Design Create.

JOE
LAFLEUR

Getting his start as a P.A. on a Viagra spot in 1999, Joe’s career in commercials has been on the rise ever since. An “I can do this!” attitude led pretty quickly to a descent little hobby directing music videos between working production on big commercial shoots.   This combination of hands on experience, and watching and learning from a who’s who of international commercial directors, along with experience on the logistical side taught him all aspects of the business… some would say he might even know too much for his own good.

With some pretty descent success in music videos and the sudden development of the web, there were new opportunities to create ads online. Joe’s early work included award-winning content for Bootlegger, branded documentary shorts for Nike and web commercials for Air Jordan.

Over the last decade Joe’s client list has grown and now includes work for Miller Genuine Draft, Grolsch, Miller Lite, Gibson’s Whiskey (see a trend here?), Connect Hearing, McDonald’s, BC Hydro and much, much more. Joe likes to think of himself as a visual storyteller with strong product, but loves comedy as well!
